Al-Ghafoor means 'The All-Forgiving' or 'The Oft-Forgiving'. It signifies that Allah's forgiveness is vast and encompasses all sins when one repents. He veils the faults of His servants and forgives them repeatedly. His mercy overwhelms His wrath, and He is always ready to forgive those who turn to Him sincerely. Quran References: 'And indeed, I am the All-Forgiving (Al-Ghafoor) toward whoever repents, believes, and does righteousness' (20:82). 'Say, My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins' (39:53).
